The El Paso Mavericks defeated the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 7-4. Doing his part was left fielder Danny Sullivan, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Picking up his 14th save was 26-year old left-handed pitcher Morgan Henn. The 4th-place Mavericks now sit at 31-32.
El Paso shortstop Nate Parish contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 76th hit of the season and put the Mavericks ahead, 7-4.
"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Mavericks manager Lorenzo Castillo.
