Bandits Earn Late Win
The Brownsville Bandits and Carmel Apples played an entertaining game for Bandits Grove patrons.

The Brownsville Bandits topped the Carmel Apples, 4-3, at Bandits Grove. Brownsville first baseman Harvey McFadyen was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Bandits sit in 5th place in the RCL HA Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 62-71.

McFadyen had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Tetsuhiro Nitta, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Bandits a 4-2 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for McFadyen.

"I like what I saw today," said Brownsville manager Izumo Ikarashi, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
