A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Okanagan Lake Monsters and Charleston Panthers.

Jonathan Mejia was superb against Charleston. The right-hander had a splitter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Lake Monsters victory. The score was 11-3. Okanagan is in third place in the TML HA Dick Williams Division with a record of 76-59.

Mejia, who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, threw 103 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.

"For the most part, I felt like I did a pretty good job with executing the pitches I was throwing," said Mejia.
