Pelicans Get Dramatic 4-3 Win
Despite a great performance by Houston third baseman Miguel Trejos, the St. Petersburg Pelicans defeated the Sting by the score of 4-3 in 10 innings at Billy Mathews Field. Trejos went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Pelicans go to 26-111 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when St. Petersburg center fielder Jeremy Steinhardt, facing Danny Umanzor, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Pelicans the 4-3 win.

"This joint was rocking," said Steinhardt.
