Ottman Hits Two Homers in 9-2 Win for Ocala
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 19-year old second baseman David Ottman, the Ocala Knights stopped the Nichols Gnats, 9-2. Mike Ramirez picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 7 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 8-7. The win boosted Ocala to 68-51.

With Ocala trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Ottman hit a fastball from Jose Contreras for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Knights ahead, 3-2.

Said losing manager Mike Nevil: "We did everything to set the stage for them to beat us."
