Blues Earn Late Win
The Memphis Blues turned back the Ocala Knights, 8-7, at The Barn. Bryant McGarr, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Josh Burgess claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. His record stands at 2-1. By defeating Ocala, the 5th-place Blues improved to 69-51.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Memphis trailing 7-6, McGarr jumped on a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Scott Perciavalle and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Blues had a walk-off win.
