Dancin' Outlaws Stymie Bel Air, Take 3-1 Win
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws got a magnificent performance from pitcher Miguel Garcia, who muffled the Bel Air offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Dancin' Outlaws win at The Rain Forest. Garcia, now 2-3, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Earning his 38th save for West Virginia was Donzel Albertrani.

Roger Cortez had a big 2-run double for the Dancin' Outlaws in the bottom of the third inning. With West Virginia leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Malcolm Tamburrino and swatted a double to center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dancin' Outlaws ahead, 3-0.

After the game, Cortez told the West Virginia Bulletin, "Like I've always said, the challenge is what makes this game worth playing."

At 77-69, West Virginia is in third place in the RCL HA Dusty Baker Division.
