Matt Cochran left his imprint on the 7-1 Victoria win against the Kingwood Knights. Cochran, who is tied for 5th in the THA in bases on balls with 111, went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Josh Roby was the winner. He's now 20-0. The loser was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Heriberto Leon. The Vikings are now 94-52.

Cochran had a key at-bat in the top of the second to put Victoria in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Kingwood pitcher Heriberto Leon.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Cochran told the Victoria Daily.
