River Bandits Drop Civics, 3-1, Behind McCutcheon
|
The San Antonio River Bandits got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ken McCutcheon, who muffled the Ottawa offense en route to a tight, 3-1 River Bandits win at Dr Pepper Stadium. Rusty Campbell recorded the save, making him 26 for 28. The second-place Civics now sit at 81-48.
San Antonio starter Ken McCutcheon was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said San Antonio manager Lemn Onkwani. "That's what Ken is right now."
