Eaton Slugs 2 Home Runs, River Bandits Beat NoBos, 8-4
|
Getting a good performance from shortstop Jeff Eaton, the San Antonio River Bandits defeated the Campo NoBos, 8-4. Eaton went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the River Bandits. The triumph puts San Antonio at 76-54 for the season.
Sean Laidlaw hit a 2-run triple off David Ruano in the bottom of the first, which put the River Bandits in front, 2-0. Laidlaw had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Eaton.
