The home team gave the crowd at The Mandalore Complex something to cheer about.

Quebec got a terrific game from designated hitter Jose Aguado. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Milwaukee, 8-6. Aguado was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pete Newby snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Alfredo Mora suffered the loss. Earning his 11th save of the year was Steve Herring.

Had Mario Rodriguez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Rodriguez hit a 2-run single. That made the score 8-6, in favor of the Millers.

"We've got great fans," said Rodriguez. "I hope they got what they came for."

Their 21-33 record puts the Millers 6th in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
