Lorenzo Pagan, who is tied for 6th in the RA in wins with 10, never let the Thunder get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Bandits to a win, 5-1. The Bandits sit in 5th place in the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 58-73.

Harvey McFadyen, who leads the RA in RBI with 110, helped out the Brownsville cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter drew 2 walks.

"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Pagan.
