The Moonbeam Martians did just enough to sneak past the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 4-3, at Abbey Stadium. Moonbeam pitcher Ryan Miller, in particular, had a standout performance. Rich Blaquiere snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-2 on the season. Jose Sanabria suffered the loss. The Martians lead the RCL HA Dusty Baker Division by 34 games.

Dan Martin delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Martians. For the game, Martin drove in one run.

"What a rush!" said a smiling Martin.
