The Memphis Blues weathered a fine game by Baltimore designated hitter Azregh Kamoga to upend the Magicians, 8-5, at The Barn. Kamoga slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Bobby Gottlieb closed it out for his 25th save. After today's action, Memphis sits at 76-56, while Baltimore falls to 83-49.

Troy Hughes had a big 2-run double for the Blues in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Memphis leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Jonathan Crabb and swatted a double to right. It was his 33rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blues ahead, 6-3.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Hughes said.
