Victory Pushes Dancin' Outlaws Record to 78-55
|
2063 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Niagara Falls Barrels.
West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws starter Willie Fermin turned in a top-notch performance against the Niagara Falls Barrels at Horseshoe Park. The result was a win for the Dancin' Outlaws, 4-1. Fermin got the win, improving to 11-7. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run.
West Virginia used the hitting of Robby Stewart to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dancin' Outlaws on top, 3-0. For the game, Stewart had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We want to make a habit of winning," Stewart said after the game.
The Dancin' Outlaws saw their win-loss record go to 78-55. At the same time, the Barrels fell to 45-88.
