Memphis Blues starter Scott Roberts was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nichols Gnats, 7-2. Memphis's record now stands at 103-55, placing them second in the TML HA Earl Weaver Division.

Dan Moore had a big run-scoring double for the Blues in the bottom of the first inning. With Memphis leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Jose Aguillar and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 31st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blues ahead, 2-0.

"It was a solid team effort," said Moore after the game.
