Kingwood Knights starter Bobby Cazares turned in a workmanlike performance against the St. Paul Saints at Saints Ballpark. Omar Cedeno was credited with the save for Kingwood, his 25th of the season. Kingwood has a record of 83-75, placing them 4th in the TML HA Dick Williams Division.

Kingwood used the clutch hitting of Salvador Guzman to snag the win. The catcher drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"When Bobby is on, he can really move the ball around," said Kingwood manager Kazuki Yamamoto.
