Bel Air Falters Again, Loses, 8-1, to Brownsville
|
Jimmy Eubanks impressed in the 8-1 Brownsville win over Bel Air. Eubanks, who is tied for 6th in the RHA with a 1.075 OPS, was 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The losing streak for Bel Air has now reached 6 games.
Marco Quizhpi helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Brownsville a 2-0 lead.
"You go in cycles where it seems like scoring runs is very difficult," Bel Air manager said. "You go through times when it seems like you're whacking it all over the ballpark. We'll straighten it up and we'll put a bunch up."
