Tucker Smacks 5 Hits for Princes
|
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Andrew Tucker. Tucker went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Nichols pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at The Pond, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Bel Air Princes had a win, 11-3, over the Gnats.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
Andrew Tucker hit a two-run home run off Jose Contreras in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Rafael Castillo in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
Thus far this season, Tucker has hit .370 with 21 home runs, 73 RBIs and scored 72 times.
