The Brownsville Bandits beat the Ocala Knights, 5-4, in part because of right fielder Bill Leblanc. He was 3-3 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Brownsville reliever Kaleb Gacoki picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. Josh Prudhomme was saddled with the loss. Brownsville occupies first place in the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division at 84-55.

Brownsville took a 5-4 lead on Ramon Rivera's 27th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rivera hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Ocala pitcher Josh Prudhomme visibly frustrated.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Ocala manager Alexis Coates. "But we decided not to take it."
