The Dallas Texans converted a terrific effort from starter Victor Lara into a win over the Buffalo Bison at Metroplex Park. The Texans won the game by a final score of 5-2. Dallas reliever Ruben Rosado picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Carl Reusch was tagged with the loss. Chris Nugent picked up the save, his 14th.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Josh Guerriero was at the plate when Dallas scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Texans to go in front, 4-2.

Guerriero attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

Dallas is now 26-40, while Buffalo is 34-32.
