At Ozark Mountain Stadium, the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners and Bloomington Blazers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 10-6, in Thurman Munson League action at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Paul Brew III pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Erik McKnight, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings.

Bloomington used a timely hit from Taylor Nunley to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blazers ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Nunley told the Bloomington Times.

With the win, the Blazers have a record of 37-30.
