Tigers Lose, 7-5, to Kansas
|
Jayhawks left fielder Noah Robbins left his mark on his team's 7-5 win over the Clemson Tigers. Robbins went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Kansas in the contest. Jamie Edwards collected save number 1. Kansas now sports a record of 9-10.
Robbins had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Francisco Marquina, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Jayhawks a 7-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Robbins.
