The Iowa State Cyclones beat the Virginia Cavaliers, 9-4, at Forney College Grounds. Wade Whitehead, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Iowa State has won 4 consecutive games.
