Bighorn second baseman Gus Ruiz had 7 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Montreal Mounties, 14-4. The win belonged to Tatsuhi Naki in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Warren Foradori took the loss for Montreal. The Bison now have a record of 31-40 with the win over Montreal.
A key moment came with one out in the top of the second. That's when Ruiz hit a splitter from Warren Foradori for a run-scoring single, putting Bighorn up, 1-0.
