Jazz Win 6-5 Nail-Biter Versus Marauders
The West Island Jazz did just enough to nip the Maple Marauders, 6-5, in 10 innings. West Island pitcher Ken Aubin, in particular, had a standout performance. West Island reliever Franklin Sprague got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Brandon Anderson was tagged with the loss. The win makes West Island 43-30.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 19-year old first baseman William Stall had a chance to be the hero. Maple pitcher Brandon Anderson wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Stall grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Jazz had themselves a thrilling win.

"Ken pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said West Island manager Pedro Gonzáles.
