In a low-scoring affair between the Seattle Sasquatch and the Walnut Creek Warriors, pitcher Travis Reske was the difference between victory and defeat. The Seattle left-hander earned kudos in the 3-1 Sasquatch win. Reske got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Caleb Brickhouse picked up the save for Seattle, his 4th of the year.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ethan Morehead? The Seattle left fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Sasquatch on top, 2-0. For the game, Morehead had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Reske.
Seattle now has a record of 4-3.
