The Cabo San Lucas Toreros did just enough to secure a victory over the Milwaukee Millers, 5-4, in 10 innings at Field de Los Layendas. Nobody did more than second baseman Joe Schuster. Victor Gonzalez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 4-6. Cabo San Lucas is now 31-45, while Milwaukee is 32-43.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cabo San Lucas designated hitter Tommy Dollak, facing Doug Decker, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Toreros the 5-4 win.
