The Cabo San Lucas Toreros topped the Maple Marauders, 6-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Field de Los Layendas. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cabo San Lucas designated hitter Dustin West. The winner was John Koch, who threw 104 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits. With the win, Cabo San Lucas goes to 23-50, while the Marauders fall to 34-41.
Early in the game, West had a 3-run home run for Cabo San Lucas. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Toreros on top, 3-0.
