Adam Rufer powered the Quebec Armada to a win over the Bloomington Blazers. The final score was 8-3. The Quebec center fielder, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2059 draft, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Ray Heck, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. With Quebec leading 3-0 in the bottom of the first, Rufer hit a cutter from John Peters for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Armada ahead, 6-0.
