Montreal Mounties starter Owen Stegemann kept the Maple Marauders hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. The Roberto Clemente League International Division-leading Mounties are 48-28.

The Mounties got a big at-bat from shortstop Kiyomi Arai. For the game, Arai was 2-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Montreal a 2-0 lead.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Stegemann.
