Drooping Ridge Runners Lose 8th Straight
Eagle Rock got a valiant performance from pitcher Willie Borrero, but it wasn't enough to beat the Seattle Sasquatch. Seattle won the game, 6-2. Borrero threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Joe Kean, now 1-1, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Eagle Rock has now lost 8 in a row.

Seattle relied on the bat of Ryan Catalano to get the win. The catcher ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sasquatch ahead, 2-1. For the game, Catalano had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"We haven't been playing to the level we want to play," said Eagle Rock manager Paco Berroa.
