Bloomington's Littlejohn Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Quincy Littlejohn, it came around today.

The 28-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Lucky 7 Ballpark to pace the 8-4 Bloomington Blazers victory over the Quebec Armada.

Quebec skipper Rod Cirilo told reporters in the press room that "Littlejohn deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Littlejohn hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."

Quincy Littlejohn singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Cornwell in the 9th.

Thus far this year, Littlejohn is hitting .283 with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
