Marauders Suffer One-Run Loss at Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas pitcher Ricky Pimentel had a large part in his team beating the Maple Marauders, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Victor Gonzalez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save. At 34-43, Cabo San Lucas is in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.

Tim Alessio drove in one run for Cabo San Lucas. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Paul Blevins. It was his 38th RBI of the season.

"Both teams played hard," said Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani.
