Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Seattle Sasquatch and Eagle Rock Ridge Runners.
In a tight tilt between the Seattle Sasquatch and the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, Travis Reske was the deciding factor. The Seattle left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. In 5 innings, Reske surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. He allowed no runs.
Seattle used the hitting of Noah Kate to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sasquatch on top, 2-0. For the game, Kate had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Eagle Rock skipper Paco Berroa, "and it cost us."
The 5th-place Sasquatch bumped their record to 35-42.
