The Frontance Falcons beat the Rutland Voodoos, 9-4, at Ballpark of Morelia HS. The win was due in part to third baseman Garth Wakeley, who was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Frontance reliever Al Kempton picked up the win, raising his record to 4-2. Malik Cummings was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Falcons have a record of 15-10.

Cole Poliskin helped out the Frontance cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Wakeley said.
