Crouse Helps Earthquakes Defeat Texans, 13-12
Led by Mark Crouse, the San Francisco Earthquakes defeated the Dallas Texans, 13-12. Crouse, a native of Poquoson, Virginia, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Earthquakes. Picking up the win was Justin Allmond. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 1. Ethan Howell recorded the save for San Francisco, his 20th of the season.

Freddie Carter was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for San Francisco. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second.
