Tornadoes Pick Up 4-3 Win Against Hawaii
|
Kansas City Tornadoes starter John Nauss was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Hawaii Honu, 4-3. The Tornadoes, at 37-44, sit in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.
The Tornadoes got a big at-bat from second baseman Patrick Nicolas. For the game, Nicolas went 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Kansas City a 3-2 lead.
"I have a job to do," Nauss said, "and I did it."
