River Falls shortstop Victor Ramirez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-2, to Springfield at Sentries Park. Ramirez was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. Springfield starter Micah Hawkridge was credited with the win after throwing 111 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Travis Lambert recorded the save. Fernando Ruiz aided the Springfield cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
