Butterflies Take Home 4-3 Win Over Havana
|
The Pennsylvania Butterflies picked up a win at The Humidor, topping the Havana Stogies, 4-3. On the mound for Pennsylvania was right-hander Will Cabrera. He played a principal role in the triumph. Cabrera got the win, improving to 2-4. He gave up 8 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 3 runs. At 30-52, Pennsylvania is in last place in the Thurman Munson League East Division.
The Butterflies got a big at-bat from catcher Jonathan Morales. For the game, Morales was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Pennsylvania a 4-2 lead.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Cabrera.
