Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Honu
Honu fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

It took 10 innings, but the Hawaii Honu were able to beat the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 8-6, at Aloha Stadium. Diego Olivarez provided some offensive muscle for Hawaii. He was 5-5 with a double and 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. After today's action, Hawaii sits at 42-41; Eagle Rock slips to 38-44.

The decisive blow was delivered by Les Hutchinson in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jon Wambach to win the game for Hawaii. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was terrific getting this win," Olivarez said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
