Warriors Take Home 4-1 Win Over Manhattan
The Walnut Creek Warriors picked up a win at Castlerock Field, defeating the Manhattan Slice, 4-1. Starting pitcher Marcel Antoine was an essential part of his team's success. Patrick Greathouse earned the save for Walnut Creek, his 2nd of the year. The loss lowers the Manhattan record to 4-4.

Matt Saxton had a big run-scoring double for the Warriors in the bottom of the third inning. With Walnut Creek leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a curveball from Tom Clow, who finished 5th in the RCL in wins with 13 in 2059, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Warriors ahead, 2-0.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Saxton.
