Thanks in large part to first baseman Reilly Snow, the Downsview Mustangs beat the Topeka West Chargers, 8-4. Snow went 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ryan Grange, the winner, improved to 1-3. He held Topeka West to 1 run on 6 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. With the win, Downsview has a record of 21-16. Topeka West falls to 24-13.
Third Baseman Tony Nunn made an impact for Downsview, when he swatted a solo home run off Aaron Flaum in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Nunn was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Snow.
