Despite a fine performance by second baseman Sam Corson, the Jacksonville Pilots lost to the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3. Corson was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The win has Cabo San Lucas at 33-52.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mark Carrozza in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing left-hander Tyler Martin to win the game for Cabo San Lucas. The home crowd went nuts.
