With right fielder Victor Villagomez leading the charge, the Rutland Voodoos defeated the Lerna Lions, 17-10, at Ballpark of Morelia HS. Villagomez, who is tied for 8th in the HALL in triples with 2, was 2 for 3 with a double and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Mike Korey picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Nate Phillips was tagged with the loss. At 27-14, the Voodoos have a slim two-game lead in the Hank Aaron Little League Bob Gibson Division.
