Armada Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, October 4th , 2062 The mood in the Quebec Armada clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Armada starting pitcher Tim Jones. "Nobody to blame but us." The Armada have made the playoffs 17 times in their 51 years as a ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. In the last 10 seasons, the Armada have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
