Pioneers Advance to Divisional Series Saturday, October 14th , 2062 The sweet swing of Jamal Simmons has led his team through the Wild Card Round. The Vancouver Pioneers star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Milwaukee Millers to advance to the Divisional Series. The Pioneers won the final game at "The Fort" at B.C. Place by a score of 12-3 and the series 4-3. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Simmons. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Simmons hit .429 with a .469 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.
