5-Hit Blitz by Mulhollan
Tuesday, October 2nd , 2063
It was a high-five day for Ron Mulhollan, at least for a while.
The Cabo San Lucas shortstop got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Milwaukee Millers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Milwaukee won the game, 9-7. Mulhollan finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Toreros couldn't hold off the Millers.
"Ron was hitting everything," said Toreros manager Labib Sarahani. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."
Ron Mulhollan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
At the moment, Mulhollan is batting .267 with 18 home runs and 69 RBIs. He has played in 148 games and scored 93 times.
