Bad News for Havana, Mettlen Injured Saturday, October 13th , 2063 A blow for Erik Mettlen today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5 months with a broken bone in the elbow. Mettlen suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the Havana Stogies are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Mettlen's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Mettlen is currently hitting at a .288 pace with 18 home runs and 72 RBIs. |
