Mounties Advance to League Pennant Saturday, October 20th , 2063 All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Montreal Mounties are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Quebec Armada are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently. The Mounties took a 4-3 victory at Lucky 7 Ballpark today, which gave Montreal a 4-1 series win. With the win, Montreal will advance to play in the League Pennant. "We aren't ready to go home yet," said Mounties left fielder Chris Elliott, who was named series MVP. The League Pennant matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
